Food safety alerts and border rejections in the European Union (EU-28) 2015

This annual report details the number of alerts, border rejections and follow ups conducted by the European Commission regarding food complaints in 2015. Issues include unlabeled allergens, food fraud, contamination with harmful substances and pesticide residues, to name just a few; the number of complaints, product categories, countries of origin and sources of complaints are provided and explored.
