Sexual activity and contraceptive use in Brazilian adolescents

This paper investigates the sexual activity and contraceptive use of adolescents in Brazil from 2013 to 2014. The study includes data from 74,589 adolescents across Brazil who received a questionnaire on a range of topics including socioeconomic characteristics, work, physical activity, eating behavior, smoking, alcohol consumption, oral health, common mental disorders, reproductive health, medical records of chronic diseases, and sleep. This paper includes the results concerning sexual activity, condom use and birth control, with data broken down by gender, age, region and school.
