State of rural telecom technology deployment 2009

Trends is NECA’s annual report 2009 on the state of telecom technology deployment among its traffic sensitive (TS) pool members. The report gathered information from a variety of sources, including NECA's interstate access tariff participants, their wire center tariff and settlement systems data, as well as periodic data requests targeting specific information. The information is particularly important for regulators as they will make decisions related to implementing the National Broadband Plan in the coming months and years.
