This report is a collaboration of the American Cancer Society, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Cancer Institute, and the North American Association of Central Cancer Registries (NAACCR) and provides annually updated information on cancer occurrence and trends in the United States. The current report updates statistics on the most common cancers and focuses on cancer survival. It examines mortality data for all cancers and the top 15 cancers among all races combined and in each major racial/ethnic population.
