Flash Eurobarometer 487 European Commission

Flash Eurobarometer 487 is the 22nd addition of an annual survey requested by the European Commission, Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs, co-ordinated by the Directorate-General for Communication and conducted by Kantar. The sample for the survey was over seven thousand respondents in seven states that haven't yet joined the euro area: Poland, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Croatia, Bulgaria and Sweden. The study attempted to gauge the support and knowledge of the single European currency within those states. In addition to that, survey provided information on the levels of euro banknotes and coins recognition, price calculations, euro impact on travel and other costs as well as economic and personal outlook, including worries of the population about the loss of national identity.
