The U.S. Solar Manufacturing Industry

As a consequence of favorable business opportunities, the U.S. photovoltaic industry saw strong growth in 2010. Total shipments of photovoltaic modules rose from around 1.2 peak gigawatts in 2009 to more than 2.6 peak gigawatts in 2010. This report presents data on the industry, prices, U.S. manufacturing, imports, exports, and inventory of photovoltaic cells and modules.
