At their 2024 launch events, smartphone vendors have unveiled their new AI smartphone lineups, from the Samsung Galaxy S24 series implementing GalaxyAI presented at the Samsung Unpacked to the Google Pixels embedding Gemini announced at the Made by Google event. Furthermore, the new iPhones 16, to be released in the fall, will feature Apple Intelligence. Indeed, in coming years, the shipments of AI-capable smartphones are forecast to increase, reaching almost one billion units by 2028. Similarly, AI PCs are a new, flourishing segment of the PC market. AI PCs are defined as computers integrating not only the traditional central processing units (CPU) and graphics processing units (GPU), but also AI chips. In the near future, the number of shipments of AI PCs is also expected to grow, acquiring an increasingly larger share of the PC market.How do consumers feel about AI devices and how do they use them?
The success of ChatGPT has attracted consumers all over the world, who started experimenting with various text and powered image tools. Now, such functionalities are being built into consumer tech devices.
