Dairy industry in Ireland
Ireland is among the leading dairy producers in Europe based on the production share. Between the years 2016 and 2021, there was a steady increase in the number of dairy cows in Ireland. In the past few years, the annual volume of milk produced in Ireland has also steadily increased. This could be due to a growing demand for dairy products. In 2022, the total volume of milk produced in Ireland was approximately nine million tons, a jump from about 6.9 million tons in 2016.Kerry Group: financials
