According to a survey published by IPSOS in 2019, 44 percent of respondents worldwide believed that the revolution in digital technology will transform their country's democracy for the better. 77 percent of respondents from India believed that technology will change their democracy for the better, compared to only 19 percent of Japanese respondents who said the same.
