Africa Cup of Nations soccer titles, by country 1957-2022
Between 1957 and 2022, Egypt was the most successful national team, having won the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) seven times. Cameroon and Ghana followed achieving five and four titles, respectively. Moreover, nine other African countries managed to secure the title once. The 33rd edition took place in Cameroon with Senegal managing to secure their first-ever title after winning Egypt in the final.
