Quarterly luxury shopping on social media platforms in Europe 2022-2023, by age group
In the third quarter of 2023, 18 to 39-year-olds in Europe surpassed those aged 40+ in their use of social media platforms to purchase luxury brand products or services. A third of 18 to 39-year-olds use social media to purchase luxury products, while only 20 percent of shoppers aged 40 and over use social media for this purpose.
