Mexico: largest food and beverage companies 2022, by revenue
In 2022, Grupo Bimbo was the Mexican food company with the largest net revenue, attaining a value of over 398 billion Mexican pesos. Ranking second was the Mexican subsidiary of Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola FEMSA, with a value of over 226 billion Mexican pesos. Arca Continental, which is a beverage producer and distributer under the Coca Cola Company, followed with over 207 billion Mexican pesos.
Grupo Bimbo is a multinational bakery product manufacturing company present in more than 30 countries. It offers various products that range from sweet bread and pastries to Mexican staples, such as tortillas, to whole grain options targeted towards consumers interested in healthier options. In 2022, Bimbo generated almost 400 billion Mexican pesos in net sales, and it was considered the leading food brand in Mexico in terms of consumer reach.
The Coca-Cola Company’s presence in Mexico is wide and strong.
