Preferred language when listening to a podcast in the Netherlands 2019
Dutch consumers preferred to listen to Dutch language-only podcasts or podcasts that combined Dutch with English in 2019. 17 percent of respondents mentioned they listened to English-only podcasts. The source mentions, though, that the respondents to this survey question were recruited via three ways: hosts of Dutch-language podcasts, social media and a sponsored message. Because of this methodology, the source emphasizes it is more difficult to reach the "English-only" audience than the "Dutch-only" one.
