Hospital beds density in Brazil 2010-2022
In 2022, there were almost two beds per thousand inhabitants in Brazil, similar to the figure reported a year prior. Between 2010 and 2020, the hospital bed density per 1,000 people decreased in the country, from around 2.23 beds to 1.91 hospital beds. During the last year depicted, the number of hospitals in Brazil amounted to 7,191, the highest reported value since 2010.
