People arrested for cyber crimes across India 2022, by leading state

The northern state of Uttar Pradesh in India had the highest number of people arrested for cyber crime charges in 2022, with over 7.1 thousand arrests. Maharashtra followed at over two thousand arrests that same year. Overall, the country saw more than 25 thousand people arrested for cyber crimes that year.
