In 2022, 20 percent of respondents state that a barrier for moving workloads freely is the inability for application components to be fully portable. Another impediment is the inability to ensure security across multiple platforms. This emphasizes the fact that managing data takes several aspects, such as considering requirements to sharing data and avoiding lock-ins into certain configurations that make switching services difficult.
