Average weekly hours of work in the main job in CEE 2021-2022, by country
In 2022, employees in most Central and Eastern European countries worked longer than the average weekly number of hours at the main full-time job (39.2 hours) in the European Union. Serbs worked the longest, more than 43 hours. Employees in Estonia, Croatia, Czechia, and Slovakia worked shorter than the EU average - below 39 hours per week.
