In 2022, WhatsApp Business was the business app that generated the most downloads worldwide. The communication platform, which allows professional and small business owners to connect with customers via their WhatsApp regular interface, generated 198 million downloads worldwide. The video communication platform saw 165 million downloads from global users in the examined period. Microsoft Teams ranked third, amassing 111 million downloads worldwide.
