Television and video access types in households in the U.S. 2021-2022

The most used TV and video access type in the United States was cable and satellite combined, according to 60 percent of respondents to a 2022 survey. However, while the use of traditional TV services declined recently, the share of U.S. households using subscription services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ grew to 59 percent.
