Investors' response to a company’s insufficient actions on ESG issues worldwide 2021
As economic, social, and governance (ESG) issues become more prominent, investors are beginning to take action and prioritize ESG activities. According to the results of a survey conducted in 2021, 58 percent of investors stated they actively seek to enter into dialogue with a company when there is insufficient action towards an ESG-related issue. Less than one-third of investors voted for executive pay to be linked to ESG targets.
