Number of countries committed to NAPs worldwide 2023, by level of adoption
In 2023, there were a total of 22 countries in the process of forming a National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights (NAP). An additional 30 countries from all regions of the world have published a NAP. The remaining seven countries have not displayed a willingness to commit to a NAP. Many countries, however, are following national strategies toward achieving environmental, social, and corporate governance related goals.
