Most common mountain-related tourist activities globally 2022
In a global survey held between July and December 2022, 93 percent of respondents answered that hiking and walking were the predominant mountain-related tourism activities in their countries. In contrast, 16 percent of survey participants said that other activities, which included birdwatching, adventure, climbing, and mountaineering were the predominant mountain tourism activities in their countries.
