Main advantages of using teleconsultation services in Spain 2021
According to a study conducted in Spain in May 2021, reduced waiting times before a medical appointment stood as the main advantage of using teleconsultation services, as reported by approximately 51 percent of respondents. Meanwhile, around 49 percent of interviewed patients mentioned the lower risk of contracting diseases as an advantage of using teleconsultation services. Based on the same survey, the main reason for making use of teleconsultation services as of that date was because telemedicine was the only available option at the time.
