U.S. adults on social media networks being managed responsibly 2024, by age
According to a February 2024 survey of adults in the United States, the opinion regarding the responsible management of social media platforms was divided across age groups. Older audiences consistently held more negative opinions of the management of social networks, with only one percent of respondents aged 65 and above considering it very responsible, compared to 27 percent of those aged 18 to 29 years and 23 percent of those aged 30-44. In contrast, 65 percent of respondents belonging to the 65+ age group considered that social network companies managed their platforms either somewhat irresponsibly or very irresponsibly.
