Between January and March 2023, the North Italian region of Aosta Valley recorded the highest employment rate nationwide, with 72.4 percent of the population aged 15 to 64 years being employed. By contrast, the Southern regions of Calabria, Campania, and Sicilty had the lowest employment rates in the country.
