As of the second quarter of 2023, AdWare was the most commonly detected mobile malware worldwide, accounting for 52.09 percent of mobile malware detected worldwide, up from nearly 23 percent in the previous quarter. Meanwhile, Risktool ranked second with more than 11 percent share, reduced from around 30 percent in the previous quarter.
