Average price of medicines in Latin America 2022
According to a study conducted in 2022, Colombia had the highest average price of medicines among seven countries in Latin America, with an average price of 37.7 U.S. dollars. Mexico ranked second in the list of countries with the most expensive medicines in the region, with an average medication price of 29.5 U.S. dollars. Meanwhile, with an average drug price of 5.5 U.S. dollars, Ecuador was the country with the cheapest medicines taking part in the study that year.
