Patients with organ transplants in Latin America 2020, by country
In 2020, Uruguay was the Latin American country with the highest number of patients with transplanted organs among selected nations in the region, with a rate of 46.3 patients per million population. Brazil ranked second, with around 34.3 patients per million inhabitants that had received an organ transplant. In contrast, Venezuela reported the lowest rate of transplanted patients per million people in the region that year.
