Total energy production from petroleum in Egypt 2005-2021
As of 2021, the total energy production from petroleum and other liquids in Egypt amounted to 1.39 quadrillion British thermal units (Btu). This was 0.07 quadrillion Btu lower than the year before. In 2021, 33.37 percent of the total primary energy production was from petroleum and other liquids. Moreover, from 2005 onwards, the highest volume of energy produced from petroleum and other liquids amounted to 1.53 quadrillion Btu in 2015.
