Audience reach abroad of the J. League through social media 2018-2022
In 2022, the audience reach in abroad countries through social network services of Japan's professional soccer circuit (J. League) amounted to approximately 700 million. The figure quadrupled in the course of three years. J. League management plans to further expand its overseas audience reach in order to secure J. League fans all over the world, which in turn would make higher broadcasting rights revenues possible.
