In Goa, the Portuguese fort of Aguada had over one million visitors in financial year 2023. The Daria Daulat Bagh was the second most visited monument by domestic visitors in Bengaluru circle in India, accounting for approximately 426 thousand in the fiscal year 2023. The Daria Daulat is a palace built in the year 1784 by the Tippu Sultan, who was the ruler of the Mysore Kingdom, and is situated in the town of Srirangapatna, close to Mysuru (Mysore).
