Market share of plug-in hybrid electric cars in Norway 2016-2022
In 2022, roughly 8.5 percent of the cars sold in Norway were plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). Overall, electric vehicles accounted for 87.8 percent of car sales in Norway in 2022. That year, the country added almost 16,000 plug-in hybrid electric cars and about 150,000 all-electric cars to its fleet.
