Top reasons for not reading books in Mexico 2022
During a survey conducted among literate adults in urban Mexico in February 2022, approximately 46.7 percent of respondents said they did not read books because they lacked time to do it. Around 28.3 percent stated that they had no interest, motivation, or fondness for reading books, while 13.3 percent of the interviewees said they would rather do other activities. The average annual number of books read by an adult in Mexico peaked at 3.9 in early 2022.
