In 2021, over 168 thousand people worked in the field of sports and fitness in the United Kingdom (UK), 80 thousand of which were classified as part-time positions and the remaining 87.8 thousand classified as full-time. Male employees occupied around 55 percent of these positions, the majority of whom were employed in a full time position.
