Perceptions of the Made in France among entrepreneurs in France 2019

While surveys about Made-in-France usually focus more on the consumers' perspective, the source wanted to assess the real perception of entrepreneurs, on a daily basis. In an effort to better understand the impact of Made-in-France in the sales and strategy of French companies, the source asked French entrepreneurs what characteristics they associated with Made-in-France. The majority of them (84 percent) answered that the question of Made-in-France was an important factor in motivating consumers.

33 percent of the respondents were business managers in the fashion, design and jewelry sector. 54 percent of the companies surveyed produce 100 percent in France. 33 percent are more than 5 years old and 6 percent were founded more than 100 years ago. 41 percent partly export their products or services."
