According to a survey conducted in October 2023 in Japan, the leading incentive to motivate an increase in consumption was if the prices of products were the same. While over 34 percent of respondents declared that they would scale up ethical consumption habits if product prices were similar to general ones, only 2.2 percent named influencer marketing a motivation.
