Journalists on the challenges due to COVID-19 U.S. 2021
A survey held among journalists in the United States at the end of 2021 assessed some of the main challenges journalists faced as a result of COVID-19 and revealed that the psychological and emotional toll of the pandemic was considered the main issue, with 20.9 percent saying they found that aspect of the pandemic very difficult. Larger percentages of responding journalists also cited the motivation to work, being able to work without interruptions, and balancing work and family care responsibilities as very or somewhat difficult.
