Export value of the space industry South Korea 2021, by sector
In 2021, the South Korean space industry's satellite services and equipment sector recorded an export value of nearly 565 billion South Korean won. That year, space industry exports totaled to around 607.45 billion won. With the successful launch of the Nuri rocket (also known as KSLV-II) in 2022, South Korea became the seventh country in the world that was able to put in orbit a satellite that weighs over one metric ton.
