In Azerbaijan, road transportation constituted the predominant mode for transporting goods, accounting for approximately 58 percent of the total volume transported. Additionally, pipelines played a significant role, facilitating the transportation of around 30 percent. Given Azerbaijan's status as an essential oil exporter, pipelines are pivotal in the country's economy.
