Number of vessel calling at Port of Algeciras 2013-2022
From 2013, the amount of ships traveling via the Port of Algeciras mainly increase until 2019, before decreasing to 18.3 thousand vessels in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. As of 2022, the number of vessel calls at the Spanish port amounted to approximately 27,800, an increase of 42 percent compared to the previous year.
