Consumers' agreement with statements regarding business sustainability Australia 2023
In a survey conducted in 2023 among Australian consumers regarding their attitudes towards sustainability and what makes a product or service sustainable, just over 35 percent of respondents indicated that they strongly agreed that businesses bear a responsibility to the consumer to operate sustainably. Around 23 percent of those surveyed said that when available, they will choose a sustainable product, service, or brand over a brand they perceive as less sustainable.
