People employed in the agricultural sector in Portugal Q1 2022-Q2 2023

In Portugal, in the first quarter of 2022, there were almost 125,000 workers in the agricultural sector, which increased to more than 142,000 in the following quarter. In 2023, there were 141,000 workers in agriculture, animal production, hunting, forestry, and fishing during the first quarter, while the second quarter recorded the highest number during the period considered, namely almost 154,000 workers.
