Share of Americans aged 18-29 with select beliefs on federal student loan policy 2022
According to a survey conducted in 2022, 38 percent of Americans aged 18 to 29 years believed that the government should cancel student loan debt for everyone in the United States. In comparison, 27 percent believed that the government should not cancel student loan debt, but help with repayment options instead.
