Men's reasons for starting beauty care in Japan 2023

The leading reason for Japanese men to start a beauty care routine was that the number of peers who engaged in it increased. As revealed in a survey conducted in September 2023, over 27 percent of men with a beauty care routine picked up the habit because they noticed an increased adoption rate by people close to them.
The survey pointed out that the most common beauty care routine among men in Japan was skincare.
