Life insurers investment portfolio in the UK 2004-2020
This statistic presents the life insurer companies investment portfolio value in the United Kingdom (UK) from 2004 to 2020. In 2007 the portfolio reached its highest pre-recession point, totaling approximately 1.75 trillion euros. In 2008, its value drastically decreased, however, by 2014 it has surpassed the pre-recession peak. Several years later it starting declining again, and stood at 1.75 trillion euros in 2020.
