Accommodation: Weekly household expenditure in the UK 2022, by age
According to a survey in the United Kingdom, respondents with a household reference person aged 50 to 64 spent an average of 11.50 British pounds on accommodation services, which was the highest among the age groups surveyed. In comparison, respondents with a household reference person aged less than 30 had the least average weekly spending on accommodation. Overall, households in the UK spent approximately 9.40 British pounds a week on accommodation services in that period.
