Bicycle average prices in the European Union (EU) 2013-2016, by country
In Great Britain the average price of a bicycle increased from 260 euro on average per bicycle to 345 euro in 2014 and declined after that to 300 euro per bicycle in 2015. A similar development occurred in Greece from 2013 to 2015. The average price of bicycles rose from 125 euros in 2013 to 233 euros in 2014 and declined from 2014 to 2015 to an average price of bicycles in Greece to 194 euro.
The highest average price for bicycle was found in the Netherlands with a price of 914 euro per bicycle on average. An increase of almost 16 percent in the average price from 2013 to 2015 in the Netherlands. During the same time, the average price of bicycles sold in Denmark rose from 450 euro per bicycle on average in 2013 and 2014 to 650 euro per bicycle in 2015. This is an increase of almost 44 percent.
