Most popular fashion and clothing brands Great Britain 2023

According to a rating of the fashion and clothing brands among consumers in Great Britain, Nike was the most popular brand in the first quarter of 2023, receiving positive opinions from almost 70 percent of respondents who took part in the study. The footwear retailer Clarks ranked fourth. However, the turnover of Clark's has fallen over recent years.

Footwear brands

Besides Clark's, other notable players in the footwear industry were popular with British consumers. Nike, the world’s most valuable apparel brand, came in first place, narrowly ahead of main competitors, Adidas. Both companies had a slightly higher popularity score than the apparel retailer, Levi’s.

High Street retailers

While global fashion and apparel brands like Adidas, Nike, and Levi’s enjoyed slightly higher levels of popularity with consumers, home-grown retailers and brands had a place in British consumers’ hearts as well. Clarks, Next, and Primark are such retailers. Both Next and Primark registered significant revenues in the most recent financial year. Primark generated roughly 7.7 billion pounds in 2022.
