Share of public telephone connections India FY 2015-2022
In financial year 2021, the share of public telephone connections in India was just under eleven percent of the total connections. The private sector however accounted for more than 89 percent of the telephone connection for the same year. With a constant increase in the number of telephone subscriptions, the Indian telecom network is the second largest telecommunications market with about 1.18 billion subscribers.
