UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Latin America and the Caribbean 2021, by type
The number of landmarks and areas in Latin America and the Caribbean chosen by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site reached 146 sites in September 2021. One of the sites added to the UNESCO list in that last update was the Settlement and Artificial Mummification of the Chinchorro Culture in the Arica and Parinacota Region in Chile.
